First of all: Tribble, as usual your stye is absolutely stunning. I never get tired of seeing your artwork and stories pop up in my messages. You make some brilliant stuff, and it brightens my day to see you getting better and better. <3
Pros: ~I really enjoy the expression on her face in this! It makes me wonder what she's staring (or even possibly fighting) at!
~I really love her design, it's eye catching to say the least. I especially love her hair, for whatever reason.
~For the most part, your anatomy is very well done in this picture. The upper half of her body appears flawless to me!
~The wrinkles in her clothing is gorgeous. I am horrid at getting those right, FML.
~Your linework is SO smooth! I envy how well done you manage to get such nice lines.
Cons:
~Her front foot is bothering me. Even with this perspective, it's too far from our 'position' to be that large.
~The arm in the front. The elbow should be just a tad lower than it is right now.
~I don't know if this was intentional or not, but on the left part of her chest, there is this line coming from her hoodie and ending at where the outline for her breast is?
And that's all I can really see that needs improvement! All in all, this is a beautiful piece! You should really consider colouring it!
Wow! What is there to fix up?! XD Tribbs, I honestly LOVE this picture! The texture in the pants are outstanding, as in the sweater! I hardly see a single flaw about it!!!! On the left arm (puting weight on as it seems) the wrist could be thicker leading up to the hand, and the 'X' on her neclace, tilt in a little sideways or even make the link streight. Everything else looks outstanding! The hair, the clothing, body structure.... Thats about it! Amazing job, as always tribbs! I hope to see more drawings from ya! Keep it up lady!!! >3<
Her left hand has six fingers. :3 *resists urge to make terrible joke*
*Ahem*
Anyway. That same wrist has a bit too much of a curve. Going from my own, a woman's forearms are generally straight with a gentle taper towards the hand, which widens back out where the radius and ulna (the bones in the forearm) meet those in the wrist. The upper arms, I think, need to be a bit longer. Proportionally they're generally the same length as the forearm.
Moving along, the torso looks good for that pose. The left leg looks good too, if a little further back than it should be - unless she's fallen and is scrambling to her feet, in which case, that makes sense.
The right leg looks just a tiiiiny bit off in two ways. A) The bone in your thigh, the femur, is the longest bone in the human body, so her shin needs to be shortened a bit, I think. And perspectve-wise, her foot needs to be more facing us - and maybe shrunk and pulled in a bit, so it's directly under her knee. Makes for better balance.
Aside from that, the back of the jaw in a woman is higher and smaller than a man's - which is what gives men that square jaw look. So maybe raise that a bit - unless the character's supposed to be a bit younger.
hey tribble i've a question. with our art animation and drawing is ityears worth of practice or is it a gift for learning how to animate and draw awesomely
