You guys seemed to like the other art project I posted, so here's another one I've done this year.
For this one we had to use a bunch of cultural images and jumble them up to create art.
I chose the norse wolf Fenrir (I actually uploaded the drawing before I cut it out and put it on the paper here; ), and I also chose the world tree ( the tree at the top), and norse-ish vines to put all around it.
Oh, and that big arc in the middle chopping Fenrir in half is supposed to be the Rainbow Bridge ( we weren't allowed to use more than one colour, so I had to forgo rainbow-ing it. The rainbow bridge by the way, is the way you get to Valhalla for those unfamiliar with norse mythology.) So I have some blood in the middle to show that the road to valhalla is paved with blood (you have to die in battle to get in) aaand the weird shapes in the bridge are actually one norse rune repeated over and over to make a pattern.
And there you have it.
A long explanation.
Derp.
Oh, ps - the blood kind of does a random swirv because originally the bridge was a lot skinnier and that was right in the middle. But since it got thicker now it's awkward and off to the left for no reason.
Kewl picture, I wish I could do this D:
there's also creatures that live above and below Yggdrassil <3
